  1. Jul 25,  · IMO Mick Taylor is one of the better Stones solo albums. He plays most of the instruments except for the drums himself. But if yer expecting it to sound Stonesy, it doesn't, really. I don't think he's a bad songwriter; "Leather Jacket" and "SW5" in particular are pretty decent efforts.
